Cricket Tournament 2025

Over two Sundays in September 2025, we held our second Woh Hup Cricket Tournament at Kranji Recreation Centre. We had an increased participation of 22 teams this year, vying for cash prizes up to $2,000.

Despite the rain on the first day, the players braved the weather and continued with their qualifying rounds. The conditions were much better on the second day, and our remaining teams brought even more energy to the field. Chairman Mr Kim Yong came to spectate the finals and awarded the top 6 teams with medals, trophies, and prizes.

Learning that our migrant workforce enjoyed playing cricket on their days off, we introduced these games so as to promote a positive work culture and incentivise their hobby through friendly competitions. Their display of sportsmanship and enthusiasm reflects their appreciation for fun activities with their peers and encourages us to continue perking up their welfare.
