Singtel Comcentre, serving as Singtel’s headquarters since 1979, occupies a site area of 19,252.6 square metres. It was Singapore’s first skyscraper to feature rooftop microwave dishes for signal transmission across the island and nearby areas.
The site is set to be redeveloped as Singapore’s first fully carbon-neutral development—covering all stages from design and construction to ongoing operations—demonstrating a model for sustainable urban development. The project aims to achieve the Green Mark Platinum (Zero Energy) certification and is designed to deliver 50% energy savings compared to the 2021 BCA Green Mark baseline. This will be accomplished through an innovative hybrid air-conditioning system that includes active chilled beams, micro-zoning, occupancy-based cooling, and thermal transition design and operations.
Additionally, the development will be thoughtfully integrated into the surrounding neighbourhood and is planned to include a future underground link to Somerset MRT station.
