Woh Hup signs CEO Commitment Charter "Pledge for Zero"
 18 Oct 2008 At the inaugural Construction CEO Summit organised by the Workplace Safety and Health Council held on 18 October 2008, our Director, Mr Eugene Yong, together with some 20 other developers and contractors pledged their commitment to establish a zero injury workplace by signing the "Pledge for Zero - A CEO Commitment Charter" to signify a collective effort to create a safer environment for the construction industry. The pledge requires the signatories to report, in concrete terms, their safety and health challenges, progress, successes, initiatives and statistics. At Woh Hup, the management has always regarded safety as an integral part of ensuring business sustainability - especially since safer and better working conditions means that workers can be more productive and encouraged to make a long-term career with the Company. The Pledge signed will add into it a much more challenging target for all employees to achieve together. |
